Position Overview

HomeSmart is seeking an experienced Market Leader / Designated Broker to lead and grow our Florida market. This individual will serve as the face of HomeSmart in the market, providing strategic leadership across agent recruiting, retention, productivity, culture, operations, and brokerage compliance.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who excels at building teams, developing talent, and driving business growth while creating an engaging, agent-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

Market Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence, increase agent count, and drive overall brokerage performance.

Agent Recruiting & Retention: Build strong relationships with agents, attract top talent, and implement initiatives that improve agent engagement and retention.

Agent Success: Coach and mentor agents to increase productivity, strengthen business performance, and achieve long-term success.

Leadership & Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative culture that promotes accountability, engagement, and professional development.

Operational Excellence: Oversee market operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with company objectives.

Brokerage Compliance: Ensure compliance with Florida real estate laws, licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies while proactively managing risk.

Qualifications

Active Florida Designated Broker license.

7–10+ years of real estate brokerage experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.

Strong knowledge of Florida real estate regulations, brokerage operations, and compliance requirements.

Proven success in agent recruiting, retention, and development.

Experience leading teams and driving business growth.

Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic leadership skills.

Ability to motivate, coach, and develop agents while fostering a strong team culture.
