Position Overview:
The Market Manager is responsible for driving sales and generating revenue for a company's products or services in off-premise locations. This role primarily focuses on selling to customers and clients in the off-premise markets, such as liquor stores. The Market Manager plays a crucial role in expanding market reach, increasing brand awareness, and achieving sales targets in designated territories.

Sales Generation:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives in off-premise locations.
- Identify potential customers, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers in the assigned territory.
- Actively prospect new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with potential clients.
- Present products or services to customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new accounts and maximize revenue.
Territory Management:
- Conduct market research to understand the off-premise market dynamics, consumer preferences, and competition.
- Develop a comprehensive territory plan, including sales forecasts, target accounts, and action plans.
- Regularly visit off-premise locations to build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, and provide feedback to the sales team and management.
Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the off-premise sales channel.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
- Provide product knowledge training, sales support, and promotional materials to clients and customers.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account information in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth, areas of improvement, and market insights.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management on sales strategies, pricing, and product positioning.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in off-premise sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
- Knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior in off-premise sales channels.
- Flexibility to travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.
