Company Overview

NetCom Learning, a part of the Sarder Ecosystem, is a global leader in IT and business skills training, empowering individuals and organizations through world-class learning solutions. We are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning while helping organizations build future-ready workforces.

1. Role Summary

The Product Marketing Intern will support NetCom Learning in translating its training and skilling portfolio into clear, differentiated and commercially useful go-to-market programs. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on event marketing, including audience strategy, webinar and field-event planning, speaker and content coordination, promotion, registration, live-event support, lead handoff and post-event performance analysis. The remaining focus will cover product understanding, market and competitor research, positioning, messaging, campaign assets, launch support and sales enablement. The intern is expected to progress toward ownership of a defined event or product-marketing workstream during the first 90 days.

2. Key Responsibilities

Product & Market Intelligence

  • Build working knowledge of priority training portfolios, vendors, audience segments and buyer needs.
  • Research competitors, market trends, customer pain points and emerging opportunities, then convert findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain simple product, competitor and messaging reference material for the marketing team.

Positioning, Messaging & Content

  • Support development and refresh of product value propositions, messaging frameworks, course/product overviews and campaign narratives.
  • Create or coordinate landing-page copy, brochures, presentations, blogs, newsletters, case studies, social posts and sales enablement assets.
  • Ensure outputs are clear, audience-specific, brand-aligned and grounded in product/customer evidence.

Event Marketing, Campaigns & Launches

  • Own event audience development with emphasis on priority accounts, decision-makers, influencers and relevant learner communities.
  • Support event delivery and post-event conversion through attendee communications, sales handoff, nurture recommendations and performance readouts.
  • Dedicate approximately 50% of role capacity to planning and hands-on execution of webinars, workshops, partner events, customer events and integrated event-led campaigns.
  • Build event briefs, audience and account targets, speaker plans, run-of-show documents, promotional calendars, asset checklists, registration plans and follow-up workflows.
  • Coordinate with Product Marketing, Events, Content, Digital, Email, Social, Sales and Operations to ensure event assets, logistics, lead capture and follow-up are ready and executed on schedule.

Performance & Customer Insight

  • Track event and campaign performance across registrations, attendance, engagement, target-account participation, lead handoff and follow-up outcomes; summarize insights and recommend optimizations.
  • Review lead and engagement signals to understand what messaging, audiences and offers are working.
  • Capture attendee feedback, speaker insights, customer proof points and reusable event content that strengthen future campaigns and sales conversations.

Cross-functional Execution

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Content, Digital, Events, Email, Social, Sales and Operations.
  • Maintain organized repositories, trackers and documentation so work can be reused and scaled.
  • Participate actively in marketing calls, communicate blockers early and take on additional priorities as business needs evolve.

3. Candidate Profile

  • Graduate or final-year student in marketing, business, communications, technology or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal English with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Curious about technology, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data, project management, professional skilling and event-led marketing.
  • Comfortable with research, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and learning marketing tools quickly.
  • Analytical mindset: able to work with data, identify patterns and explain what the business should do next.
  • Organized, proactive and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Event, webinar, campus marketing, content, research, presentation or internship experience is a plus.

4. What Good Looks Like

  • Learns the portfolio and target audiences quickly enough to create accurate, useful marketing output.
  • Produces work that requires progressively less rework and can be used in live campaigns or sales conversations.
  • Connects research to a recommendation instead of simply collecting information.
  • Shows ownership through clear status updates, dependable follow-through, organized documentation and early escalation of blockers.
  • Uses event, campaign and stakeholder data to improve audience strategy, promotion, experience, follow-up and the next iteration.

5. Skills Required

  • Event planning and coordination
  • Content writing and communication
  • Audience and market research
  • PowerPoint, Excel, and Word proficiency
  • Data analysis and performance reporting
  • Project and stakeholder management
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving
  • Ability to learn CRM, marketing automation, webinar, and event-management platforms quickly
