Job Description
Just imagine turning shopper insights into distinctive products and experiences that strengthen the LEGO® brand. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Marketing Manager, you'll lead the development of unique retail products and experiences from idea to launch. During this 12-month contract, you'll shape purposeful product portfolios using audience, shopper and business insights. You'll combine product innovation with commercial thinking to create value for consumers and shoppers across our own channels and business-to-business retail.
We offer a hybrid working model called Best of Both: three days in our Billund office and up to two days from home. No relocation assistance is offered for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Built product portfolios anchored in audience, shopper and business insights.
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods, working cross-functionally to build brands.
- Commercial acumen with a deep curiosity for business and customer dynamics.
- General understanding of the marketing toolbox and ecosystem.
- Genuine motivation working across multiple core teams, all vital to shared success.
- Comfortable in and motivated by presenting strategy to senior leadership and larger audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Analysed product and portfolio performance to identify opportunities and inform future product choices.
- Self-confidence and the ability to take initiative, recognize and act on opportunities.
- Curious in how AI tools can support smarter ways of working and drive efficiencies in in analysis and decision-making.
What you'll build
- Purposeful product portfolios using consumer, shopper and commercial insights.
- Progress products from concept to launch, considering shopper relevance, passion point fit, brand objectives and commercials.
- Brief creative partners on product concepts, including pricing and the role each product plays within the wider portfolio.
- Work with creative and project colleagues to turn ideas into distinctive physical products and retail experiences.
- Review product and portfolio performance to identify opportunities and inform future choices.
- Extend the LEGO brand by building on existing ecosystems and exploring opportunities that create meaningful differentiation for consumers and shoppers.
If you've worked in a role where you've developed physical products and built portfolios around shopper needs, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is genuine interest in product innovation, commercial thinking and using insights to make thoughtful portfolio choices.
Life on the team
You'll join Licensing and Extended Line, working closely with Creative, Project Management, Marketing, Go-to-Market, customers and other functional partners. Building positive relationships across these groups will be an important part of how you work. Curiosity, Bravery and Focus are central to how we work together. You'll bring the confidence to take initiative, recognise opportunities and act on them, while staying comfortable with change and different perspectives.
What success looks like
You'll develop a clear understanding of your portfolio and confidently guide products towards launch. As your knowledge grows, you'll use audience, shopper and business insights to identify opportunities and shape future portfolio recommendations. You'll work closely with your core team and functional partners to create purposeful products that strengthen LEGO brand equity and offer something distinctive for consumers and shoppers.
