Build a Global Icon — Write the Next Chapter of Asahi Super Dry in America
Full-Time | Hybrid
ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Asahi Beer USA is a premium beverage business building a portfolio of super-premium brands, including Asahi Super Dry and Twisted Shotz. As part of Asahi Europe & International, the global arm of Asahi Group Holdings, our U.S. team pairs local market agility with global brand capabilities. We're supported by Octopi Brewing, our production home in Wisconsin, where a 250+ person team of beverage industry pros brews and packages Super Dry for the U.S. market.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Ready to shape the future of one of the world's most iconic beer brands? We're looking for a Senior Brand Manager to become the U.S. brand owner for Asahi Super Dry — Japan's No.1 selling beer and one of the fastest-growing premium imported beer brands in the United States. The brand is entering an exciting new phase of growth, backed by major partnerships, significant brand investment, and ambitious long-term plans.
This role goes beyond campaign execution. You'll find the biggest opportunities and barriers to growth, challenge assumptions, and make sure our investment goes where it will move the brand most. We want a strategic marketer who loves building brands, turning insights into action, and delivering measurable results.
WHY JOIN US
? Be part of the team behind Japan's No.1 selling beer brand
? True brand ownership — you set the direction for Super Dry in the U.S. market
? A fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where ideas can quickly become reality
? Help shape major future initiatives, partnerships, innovations, and activations, including our MLB partnership
? The backing of a global organization, with the chance to make a visible impact in a growing U.S. business
? A highly engaged, motivated team that's passionate about winning together
WHAT YOU'LL DO
? Own the U.S. strategy, growth, and performance of Asahi Super Dry, leading the annual brand plan, objectives, KPIs, and investment priorities
? Spot growth opportunities and performance gaps, and recommend actions to accelerate the brand
? Lead integrated marketing across media, digital, social, PR, influencer, experiential, partnerships, and trade activation
? Manage agencies and guide campaigns from brief to launch to post-campaign evaluation
? Own portfolio and packaging strategy, including packaging updates, artwork approvals, and consumer-facing assets
? Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, distributors, and key customers to drive distribution, visibility, and demand, with clear brand direction and sell-in stories
? Turn strategic partnerships, including MLB, into consumer demand and brand growth
? Represent the U.S. market with global stakeholders and align local needs with global priorities
? Lead, coach, and develop direct report(s)
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
? 7–9+ years of brand marketing experience, ideally in beer, beverage alcohol, FMCG, or another consumer-facing category
? Strong grasp of brand strategy, consumer insights, integrated marketing, and commercial drivers
? Understanding of the U.S. three-tier system and distributor operating models
? Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
? Confidence to challenge assumptions constructively and propose better solutions
? Ability to influence stakeholders across cross-functional and global teams
? Strong ownership and initiative, able to work independently while aligning on key decisions
? Willingness to travel about 1–2 times per month, primarily to key U.S. markets and our Octopi brewery in Wisconsin
BENEFITS & PERKS
? Medical, dental, and vision coverage — effective the 1st of the month after 30 days
? Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
? 401(k) eligible after 3 months, with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%
? 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here
? 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)
? A free beer after shift, because you earned it
PAY & SCHEDULE
? Salary: $130,000/Annually
? Work arrangement: Hybrid
? Travel: Approximately 1–2 times per month
Full-time, exempt
