Marketing Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, creative, and results-oriented Marketing Manager to develop, coordinate, and execute marketing initiatives that support the company's growth and sales objectives.
The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing (SVP) and will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to gain a thorough understanding of the company's sales process, customers, products, services, markets, and existing marketing programs.
During the initial onboarding period, the Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to become fully up to speed on current sales and marketing activities, customer profiles, market positioning, sales tools, and business-development priorities. Over time, the Marketing Manager will take increasing ownership of marketing programs and initiatives while maintaining close alignment with the SVP and sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Work closely with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute the company's marketing strategy.
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with company revenue and business objectives.
Manage day-to-day marketing activities and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Develop campaigns that generate awareness, qualified leads, customer engagement, and business opportunities.
Monitor marketing performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Maintain consistency in company branding, messaging, and market positioning.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to understand the company's sales process, customer base, products, services, and competitive landscape.
Learn and document current sales and marketing processes, tools, campaigns, and best practices.
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to identify marketing opportunities that can support sales growth.
Develop marketing materials and sales-support tools, including presentations, brochures, proposals, case studies, email campaigns, and digital content.
Work with the sales team to understand customer needs and translate those insights into effective marketing programs.
Support lead-generation and lead-nurturing activities in coordination with the sales team.
Ensure marketing campaigns and messaging are aligned with sales priorities and customer requirements.
Digital Marketing
Manage and coordinate the company's digital marketing activities.
Develop and manage website content and updates.
Plan and execute email marketing campaigns.
Manage social media content, scheduling, and engagement.
Support SEO, online advertising, and other digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor website traffic, engagement, leads, and campaign performance.
Research and recommend new digital marketing channels and opportunities.
Content & Brand Management
Develop high-quality marketing content for customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams.
Create or coordinate brochures, presentations, newsletters, case studies, articles, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
Maintain consistent brand standards across all marketing channels.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, agencies, designers, and other marketing resources as needed.
Ensure all marketing communications accurately represent the company's products, services, and value proposition.
Market Research & Business Intelligence
Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
Monitor customer and industry trends relevant to the company's business.
Research target markets, customer segments, and potential new opportunities.
Provide the SVP with regular updates and insights regarding marketing performance and market activity.
Use data and analytics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Events & Promotional Activities
Plan and coordinate trade shows, conferences, customer events, webinars, networking events, and other promotional activities.
Coordinate event logistics, marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and follow-up activities.
Work with the sales team to maximize lead generation and customer engagement from events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Experience with digital marketing, email marketing, social media, and content development.
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales and senior leadership.
Ability to learn complex products, services, and markets quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
B2B marketing experience.
Experience supporting a sales organization or business-development team.
Experience with trade shows, industry events, and customer marketing.
Experience with CRM systems and marketing analytics.
Experience with website management, SEO, and digital advertising.
Graphic design or content-development experience is a plus.
Experience working with external marketing agencies or vendors.

Onboarding & Collaboration
During the initial transition and onboarding period, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's customers and target markets.
Learn the company's sales process and customer-development strategy.
Understand existing marketing programs, campaigns, tools, and resources.
Review current sales materials, marketing collateral, CRM processes, and lead-generation activities.
Understand the company's products, services, competitive advantages, and market positioning.
Establish effective working relationships with the sales team and other departments.
Identify opportunities to improve existing marketing processes and programs.
The goal of this collaboration is to provide the Marketing Manager with a strong understanding of the business while establishing clear ownership and accountability for the marketing function.
