Job Description

Overview:

What Marketing Manager does at Visa:

The Marketing Manager for our business is accountable for planning, design and seamless execution of Visa’s client marketing activities (B2B) in the market.

The individual will dual report to the Head of Marketing Services (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand) and Head of Marketing Thailand and will be part of the Country Team to accelerate business growth, with a profit and loss (P&L) mindset focused on optimizing team performance and marketing investment. He/She will drive customer centricity within the organization by understanding the evolving payment ecosystem and changing consumer needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead marketing engagements for key clients and partners by developing and rolling out client marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives. This encompasses the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns from planning to execution.

Engage with client executives and team leads to understand their plans and to take the initiative in proposing marketing support that aligns with their goals.

  • Foster and sustain client relationships to generate new revenue streams by offering comprehensive Marketing Value Added Services (VAS). These services cover marketing insight, strategy, creative services, execution, and consulting.
  • Identify client requirements through thorough analysis and develop custom plans. Negotiate pricing and scope with clients, followed by necessary contracting and documentation. Partner with internal teams and agencies to implement effective solutions. Ensure progress by achieving objectives and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work extensively with local country cross-functional teams (e.g., Business Development, Account Leads, Product, Visa Consulting and Analytics), as well as the AP client marketing team, to support Marketing VAS engagement, project planning & development, and execution.

Oversee all administrative deliverables related to client marketing project management and VAS including but not limited to marketing approvals, procurement processes, contract management and VIK process management in full compliance with Visa’s policy and process.

  • Ensure timely executions and deliverables from agencies and vendors as well as proper documentation and paperwork across the whole project lifecycle.
  • Open communication between partners and vendors to ensure that work is execution and implemented accurately.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Excellent performance and strategic marketing experience in Marketing management (Minimum 8 years of experience) , preferred in finance/payment industry, FMCG, Telecommunications, digital agency or applicable industry.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in B2B/B2B2C Marketing (agency or client), with proven record of driving business impact through client/partner marketing.
  • Bachelors’ or business/marketing or related field with marketing foundation.
  • Proven record in interacting and managing client stakeholders; including prospecting, pitching, scoping, implementing and overall client relationship management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders; such as Account Executives, cross-functional teams in Thailand.
  • Experienced in client and partner communications through a variety of content and channels (e.g. EDMs, social media, multi-media etc.).
  • Identify and source for relevant merchant offers and partners.
  • Ensure overall smooth execution of campaign, including timely handovers from partners and vendors, and paperwork submission
  • Great attitude and a keen lifelong learner.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with tons of drive and energy.
  • Proactive thinker, problem solver and desire to take risks to test and learn.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
