Marketing plays a critical role in strengthening our global market position and supporting ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Marketing Manager for the Vertical Packaging portfolio, you will further develop marketing as a key driver of commercial impact and business growth.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for the Business Unit Food Processing & Packaging, you will translate business unit marketing strategy into impactful marketing plans and execution for the Vertical Packaging portfolio. You will work in close alignment with Product Management and Sales to ensure effective rollout and strong adoption of marketing initiatives across key markets. You will drive demand generation, strengthen market positioning, and ensure marketing contributes directly to pipeline and order intake.

You will operate in a matrix organization, working closely with Business Unit Leadership, Sales, Product Management, and Site Management. Within the BU marketing budget framework and in alignment with the Head of Marketing, you will manage and optimize the marketing budget for the Vertical Packaging portfolio, define priorities, and ensure strong alignment with commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

Drive demand, generate qualified pipeline and support opportunity creation through targeted campaigns, digital activation, events and product launches across priority markets and accounts.

Develop the global marketing strategy and activity plan for the Vertical Packaging portfolio, translating growth ambitions into focused priorities, programs, and measurable commercial impact.

Define priority markets, segments and target audiences with Sales and Product Management, turning commercial opportunities into effective go-to-market plans.

Drive demand and pipeline creation through targeted campaigns, digital activation, events and product launches across priority markets and accounts.

Strengthen portfolio positioning and value propositions, creating compelling messaging and proof points that differentiate our solutions and strengthen customer relevance.

Lead marketing for strategic product launches and growth initiatives, ensuring strong positioning, market readiness and coordinated global activation.

Partner with Sales to strengthen customer engagement, accelerate opportunity development and increase the effectiveness of commercial conversations through targeted enablement.

Identify new growth opportunities through customer, market and competitor insights, while tracking marketing performance and contribution to qualified pipeline.

Prioritize marketing investments and activities across the portfolio, ensuring resources are focused on the highest commercial growth opportunities.

Lead key strategic trade fairs end-to-end, owning planning, cross-functional project management, execution and post-event performance reporting.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

8+ years experience in a B2B marketing role, preferably in an international industrial or technology environment.

Strong business acumen and ability to align marketing with commercial priorities and targets.

Strong understanding of modern B2B marketing, including demand generation, content marketing, and marketing technologies.

Strong product marketing expertise, including portfolio positioning, value proposition development, go-to-market strategy and product launch management.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across Sales, Product Management and Business Leadership.

Data-driven mindset, with experience measuring marketing performance, campaign effectiveness and contribution to pipeline.

Experience with large-scale international trade fairs and event marketing is a strong plus.

  • Experience working successfully in complex international matrix organizations.
  • Fluency in English.
