Role Summary
The Marketing Operations Analyst is a business owner, administrator, and super user of the systems that power our marketing and revenue engine. The core of the role is business ownership and administration of Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), in partnership with IT. You will own or serve as the super user and champion for a rotating set of GTM platforms, such as 6sense, Sendoso, Clay, Qualified, and Salesloft, making sure they are well configured, well governed, and used to their full potential.
You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, BDR, and IT to turn strategy into scalable, measurable processes, and you will help us leverage AI-enabled ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Ownership and Administration
Serve as a non-IT business owner and of Salesforce and Pardot in Marketing Operations
Own or act as super user and champion for other marketing and GTM platforms as assigned (e.g., 6sense, Sendoso, Clay, Qualified, Salesloft, and future tools), including configuration, governance, and vendor contact where applicable
Manage user access, permissions, licensing, and onboarding/offboarding where business-owned
Manage day-to-day configuration, such as fields, flows, reports, dashboards, and automation rules, within agreed governance boundaries
Partner with IT on enhancements, integrations, and larger projects: define business requirements, prioritize requests, support testing and user acceptance, and drive adoption of what is delivered
Troubleshoot sync errors and data discrepancies between platforms, escalating to IT or vendors as needed
Monitor vendor releases and roadmaps, and provide input on renewals and vendor relationships
Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and business rules
Create, train and maintain AI-Agents and AI-Skills to support the use of AI within the revenue tech stack
Marketing Team Support and Insight
Act as a trusted advisor to the marketing organization on how to use our systems effectively to execute and measure programs
Bring business insights, performance trends, and best practices to inform how campaigns and programs are planned and run
Support campaign teams with guidance on campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, Salesforce campaign structure, tracking, and attribution
Help ensure programs are set up in a way that is measurable, compliant (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL), and consistent with email deliverability and list hygiene standards
Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to campaign owners when issues arise (campaign design and build remain with the marketing program teams)
Lead Lifecycle and Revenue Process
Help maintain and optimize lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle stage definitions with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps
Support MQL-to-SQL handoff processes and SLAs, and monitor funnel conversion and velocity
Support ABM, intent-driven, and engagement programs using the tools in our stack (e.g., 6sense for intent and segmentation, Qualified for conversational/website engagement, Sendoso for direct mail and gifting, Clay for enrichment and prospecting workflows, Salesloft for sales cadences), as assigned
Help define enrichment logic, routing rules, and data-quality standards across these platforms
Data Quality, Reporting, and Insights
Drive data governance for marketing data: deduplication, normalization, enrichment, and field standards
Build and maintain dashboards and reports on pipeline contribution, campaign performance, funnel health, and attribution
Proactively surface insights and recommend process or program improvements
Enablement, Evangelism, and Best Practice
Act as the internal champion for the platforms you own or support: train teams, create documentation and playbooks, and run office hours
Define and promote best practices for system usage, and drive adoption across Marketing, BDR, Sales
Innovation and AI
Stay current on MarTech and RevTech trends, particularly AI-driven capabilities in our stack and adjacent tools
Evaluate, pilot, and help operationalize AI use cases (e.g., enrichment, lead research, workflow automation, predictive scoring)
Recommend tool rationalization, new capabilities, and stack improvements, backed by business cases
Required Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or a closely related function
Salesforce (required): hands-on admin experience, including objects, fields, flows, reports, dashboards, and campaign structure
Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and/or Marketing Cloud (required): hands-on experience with automation, scoring, and integrations
Working experience with, or demonstrable ability to quickly learn, marketing and sales technology platforms such as 6sense, Sendoso, Clay, Qualified, and Salesloft
Strong understanding of the B2B demand generation funnel, lead lifecycle management, and attribution
Experience translating business needs into clear requirements for IT or technical teams
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system and data issues
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and driving adoption
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator and/or Pardot Specialist/Consultant certification
Acumen with Artificial Intelligence tools.
Experience with ABM, intent-data, and sales engagement platforms, and with data enrichment and workflow automation tools
