Role

With direction and oversight from the Marketing Committee, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, administration, and execution of the Bank's approved marketing, communications, public relations, community involvement, sponsorship, and charitable initiatives. The Marketing Specialist serves as the primary administrative liaison to the Marketing Committee and ensures approved initiatives are carried out effectively, consistently, and in accordance with established Bank polices and guidelines.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Social media maintenance; Manage the Bank's presence across approved social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms adopted by the Bank. Develop, coordinate, schedule, and publish approved social media content. Monitor and respond to social media activity on behalf of the Bank in accordance with established guidelines. Coordinate with appropriate departments and employees to gather information, photographs, announcements, and other content. Maintain a consistent and professional Bank presence across social media channels.

Community Events, Sponsorships & Charitable Contributions; Coordinate the Bank's participation in approved community events, sponsorships, and charitable activities. Coordinate event-related materials, handouts, promotional items, tables, and other resources. Coordinate employee and/or customer participation for Bank-sponsored tables and community events. Coordinate the approval, fulfillment, and payment of approved charitable contributions and sponsorships. Maintain appropriate documentation related to community involvement, sponsorships, and charitable activities.

Marketing Materials & Customer Communications; Oversee the ordering and distribution of customer-facing marketing materials. Ensure Bank locations have appropriate supplies of current marketing materials. Assist with coordination and distribution of approved advertising and promotional materials.

Employee Newsletter & Internal Communications: Prepare, coordinate, and distribute the Bank's monthly staff newsletter. Share upcoming Bank events, community involvement, sponsorships, charitable efforts, and other relevant Bank information. Coordinate with Human Resources regarding employee-related announcements and information for inclusion in the newsletter.

Serves as the Bank's primary administrative liaison to the Marketing Committee. Coordinates the implementation and execution of initiatives approved by the Marketing Committee.

Marketing & PR expenses; Coordinate the processing and payment of approved marketing and public relations expenses. Ensure approved sponsorships, charitable donations, promotional expenses, and other marketing-related expenditures are submitted for payment. Maintain appropriate invoices, approvals, and supporting documentation.
