Mechanic

• About The Role:
• •The Motor Vehicle Mechanic will perform repair work and maintenance for cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles in the company’s fleet.

• Essential Functions:
• •Maintain and repair heavy equipment and trucks as well as light duty trucks an equipment
• •Able to pick up 50lbs
• •Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and stretch for long periods of time while working
• •Some welding and fabrication
• •Walk and work on uneven ground, requiring stable footing
• •Diagnose operational difficulties experienced by several brands and types of equipment
• •Ability to trouble shoot and identify issues and fix them quickly and efficiently
• •Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

Travel to active job sites is required to perform mechanical work.

• Minimum Qualifications:
• •Prior mechanic experience
• •Inspection license
• •Must be able to use all tools and equipment necessary to perform work assignments
• •Must have own tools

• •Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job stated above
• •Good verbal and written communication skills
• •Basic mathematics and computer skills
• •Recognize and follow company procedures and policies
• •Ability to operate all products and models of our equipment
• •Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• •Clean background check
• •CDL preferred but not required

Valid drivers license

Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and randoms

Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate

Follow all Company policies and procedures

Physical demands :

Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic

Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week ( O vertime/weekend work will be required )

Ability to work in extreme conditions – Temps below freezing and above 100 Degrees F

Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time

Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.

Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
