Mechanic

• $2000 GRADUATED SIGN-ON BONUS
• Starting pay is $33.02 per hour, plus additional wage premiums
• Shifts offered:
• 6AM to 6PM - Sun, Mon, Tues with alternating Wednesdays
• 6AM to 6PM - Thurs, Fri, Sat, both with alternating Wednesdays

What you’ll do:

• •Utilize your mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high speed coater line
• •Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems
• •Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010
• •Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

We need you to have:

• •High school diploma, GED, or equivalency
• •Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to pass a mechanics test
• •Desire to operate and maintain Silgan's coater lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements
