• As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and
• optimization of components across our gas power portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to deliver high-quality solutions, drive product upgrades, and ensure our designs meet rigorous performance and safety standards. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• •Design & Analysis: Execute mechanical design and analysis (stress, modal, lifing) for assigned components in gas turbines.
• •Technical Stewardship: Take ownership of mechanical hardware; perform validation testing; and evaluate designs for factors like thermal growth, manufacturing variation, and assembly stack-up to ensure optimal product behavior.
• •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering experts, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to optimize sub-systems and components.
• •Continuous Improvement: Support root cause analyses (RCA) to improve reliability, quality and yield. Apply Lean principles to streamline processes and drive innovation.
• •Project Delivery: Manage milestones through formal/informal technical reviews, ensuring compliance with NPI processes and design practices.
• •Mentorship: Foster a collaborative environment by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Principal and Chief Engineers.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited institution.
• •Technical proficiency in engineering software (ANSYS, NX) and programming languages (Python, Excel VBA) for data analysis.
• •A "Lean" mindset, familiarity with AI-driven tools, and a passion for innovative design.
• •Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, and fast-paced environment.
• •Strong communication skills, with a transparent approach to project management and problem-solving.
