Mechanical & Electrical Manager (Facilities & Project Management)

• Summary
• Responsible for managing and overseeing the mechanical and electrical systems within the assigned building/facility, ensuring reliable operation, preventive maintenance, statutory compliance and effective delivery of M&E services.

Key Responsibilities

• •Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and other building services.
• •Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and minimise breakdowns.
• •Conduct regular inspections of M&E installations and identify potential operational, safety and maintenance issues.
• •Coordinate with term contractors, service providers and consultants to ensure maintenance works are completed safely, timely and to the required standards.
• •Troubleshoot M&E equipment and systems and coordinate rectification works where required.
• •Monitor contractors' performance, work quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
• •Ensure all statutory inspections, testing, certification and regulatory requirements are complied with.
• •Review maintenance records, service reports and equipment performance, and recommend improvement measures where necessary.

Requirements

• •Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• •Relevant experience in M&E / Facilities Management / Building Operations, preferably within commercial, industrial or institutional facilities.
• •Strong knowledge of building M&E systems and maintenance practices.
• •Good troubleshooting, coordination and contractor management skills.
• •Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• •Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
• •Relevant professional certifications or statutory licences will be an advantage.
