Job Summary

Summary:

The “ Research & Development Engineer ” will be based in ……. , reporting to ……

In charge of developing new products, redesign existing products, and perform research and testing on product concepts. This includes maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like: :

• •Holding up the pre-development according to technology and product roadmap.
• •In charge of the regular project planning and coordination across RD centers and factories.
• •Conducting market research and evaluating similar products and their functions.
• •Contributing with colleagues from the engineering department on product feasibility.
• •Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs.
• •Managing customer reports as well as always having an eye for the status and providing internal status updates.
• •Watching the project status and if required adjusting and planning different project activities.
• •In charge of maintaining transparency between the involved parties on all aspects of the project.
• •Business research, development, testing and deployment efficiently and effectively.
• •Monitor progress of the teams, whilst always keeping track of the budget.
• •Tracks issues and risks and in case of problems, escalates in a timely and clear manner.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team: :

• •Functional knowledge, education background and 5 years relevant working experience required.
• •Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• •Demonstrates detailed expertise in complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas.
• •Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• •Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
• •Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• •Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
