Step beyond the classroom and apply your technical knowledge in the real world. Verdantas is seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at our Holden, Mass office.

We're looking for a talented and inquisitive engineering intern who is eager to apply their skills in a real-world setting and learn from experienced professionals. This internship offers hands-on exposure to engineering projects that make a tangible impact, along with mentorship from a collaborative team that values innovation and curiosity. What You'll Do:

• •Assist engineers with the design and development of mechanical systems and infrastructure projects
• •Support the preparation of engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents
• •Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software to assist with designs and project deliverables
• •Participate in field investigations, site visits, inspections, and data collection activities
• •Review plans, specifications, and engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness
• •Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and execution
• •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, civil, and environmental professionals
• •Assist with project documentation, scheduling, and other engineering support tasks
• •Perform miscellaneous assignments as needed to support project and team objectives

What You Bring:

• •Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• •Strong academic record and interest in mechanical systems design
• •Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software preferred
• •Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• •Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• •Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• •Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a variety of projects
• •Valid driver's license preferred

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $22.00
