Job Description:

Quadrus Corporation is seeking a motivated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineers, from newly graduated to 10 years' experience, to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience designing, analyzing, testing, and improving rocket propulsion components. You will work closely with senior engineers on real projects while developing foundational skills in design, analysis, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design, development, and analysis of mechanical and aerospace components, assemblies, and systems using CAD and analysis tools.

Perform basic structural, thermal, fluid, or kinematic analyses under guidance.

Assist with prototype development, testing, data collection, and documentation of results.

Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate design intent and findings.

Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Support program prove-out, first-article validation, and process troubleshooting as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, testing, and project management) to meet project milestones.

Follow established engineering processes, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field

Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals: statics, dynamics, strength of materials, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

Proficiency with at least one major CAD package (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or similar).

Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to learn, take direction, and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship, co-op, senior design project, or research experience related to mechanical or aerospace systems.

Exposure to metal additive manufacturing, rocket propulsion systems, structural or fluids analysis, or systems engineering.

Basic programming or scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, etc.).

Familiarity with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, or aerospace standards.

Hands-on experience in a lab, shop, or test environment.
