SCOPE: Assemble gearboxes and component parts for refurbishment and assembly.

• SPECIAL SKILLS/ Requirements:
• •Operate overhead crane and forklift.
• •Use hand held power, hand held precision measuring and manual tools.
• •Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications,
• bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble
• gearboxes/products. Good written and oral communication skills.
• •Working knowledge of mechanical components/assemblies to suggest improvements.
• •Ability to work accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner, while maintaining safety as
• a priority.
• •Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce
• a new concept or idea.
• •Ability to lift and/or push 25 pounds, stand, bend, and squat with repetitive movements for 8
• hours.
• •High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
• •Work overtime on an as needed basis.
• EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. 3-5 years of mechanical
• assembly experience, gearbox preferred.

• RESPONSIBILITIES:
• •Work in a team environment to accomplish goals.
• •Utilize hand held precision measuring tools such as micrometers and depth mics.
• •Perform quality work inspections to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• •Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are
• identified.
• •Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering
• specification.
• •Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• •Maintain a clean and safe work area per 5S practices.
