About the Role

Join our Orthopedic & Trauma team and provide exceptional care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, trauma, surgery, and acute medical conditions. As an RN, you'll work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care while helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

What You'll Do

• •Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• •Care for orthopedic, trauma, post-surgical, medical, telemetry, and neurologic patients
• •Administer medications and treatments safely
• •Collaborate with physicians, therapists, care managers, and other healthcare professionals
• •Educate patients and families throughout their care journey
• •Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care
• •Supervise and support LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and other team members
• •Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Qualifications

• •Associate Degree in Nursing required
• •BSN preferred
• •Current Iowa RN license required
• •BLS certification required
• •ACLS required for telemetry-capable units
