About the team:
- The Media team is at the heart of Web Summit, making sure that the world’s most influential
- media attend, speak at and cover our events across the world. The team facilitates the best
- experience for the media during Web Summits, facilitating discussion and driving coverage
- across multiple platforms.
- The Media team works with journalists on a daily basis, making sure that every significant
- media outlet, reporter and creator across the globe - whatever their platform - knows about,
- travels to and covers our events. In doing so, we drive awareness of our events as the
- world’s premier tech conferences - and of Web Summit as the world’s leading tech
- conference business.
- The team also secures the most impactful and relevant moderators for our stage content;
- arranges interviews, live podcasts, creator content, press conferences and announcements;
- tracks and analyses coverage; sources and highlights relevant content for attending media;
- and works closely with Web Summit’s key teams to ensure the maximum impact and
- visibility of their work.
