About the team:

  • The Media team is at the heart of Web Summit, making sure that the world’s most influential
  • media attend, speak at and cover our events across the world. The team facilitates the best
  • experience for the media during Web Summits, facilitating discussion and driving coverage
  • across multiple platforms.
  • The Media team works with journalists on a daily basis, making sure that every significant
  • media outlet, reporter and creator across the globe - whatever their platform - knows about,
  • travels to and covers our events. In doing so, we drive awareness of our events as the
  • world’s premier tech conferences - and of Web Summit as the world’s leading tech
  • conference business.
  • The team also secures the most impactful and relevant moderators for our stage content;
  • arranges interviews, live podcasts, creator content, press conferences and announcements;
  • tracks and analyses coverage; sources and highlights relevant content for attending media;
  • and works closely with Web Summit’s key teams to ensure the maximum impact and
  • visibility of their work.
