Medical Advisor

Position Purpose

• •Provide Scientific & Medical Expertise: Support medical strategy and execution for pipeline products in Specialty Care and Internal Medicine, ensuring compliance and scientific integrity.
• •Enable Launch Readiness: Contribute to pre-launch planning, medical education, and evidence generation activities for new products.
• •Drive External Engagement: Act as a credible scientific resource for healthcare professionals and stakeholders, strengthening partnerships and advancing patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

• •Medical Strategy Support
• Implement country medical plans for pipeline assets, aligned with global/regional strategy and local regulations.
• •Scientific Communication
• Deliver accurate, balanced scientific information to HCPs; support advisory boards, congresses, and educational initiatives.

• •Evidence Generation
• Coordinate local RWE, IITs, and post-marketing studies in compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• •Launch Preparation
• Assist in medical readiness for new product launches, including KOL mapping, training, and medical content development.
• •Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with commercial, regulatory, and clinical teams to ensure integrated execution of medical activities.
• •Compliance & Governance
• Review promotional and non-promotional materials; ensure adherence to OPPI, CDSCO, and internal standards.
• •Insight Gathering
• Capture and communicate medical insights to inform strategy and content updates

Qualifications

• •MD degree (any field)
• •4-6 years of Medical Affairs experience
• •Experience working in a multinational company
• •Experience with launch, oncology & vaccines

• •Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery, research & development, commercialization, promotion, and applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines
• •Knowledge of “pharmaceutical medicine” including clinical pharmacology, medical and paramedical sciences, medicine and medical statistics and relevant Therapeutic Area/Products
• •Understanding of clinical trial design, methodology, conduct and understanding of interfaces.
• •Communication skills, both written and verbal (including medical writing and presentation skills)
• •Good analytical skills and reasoning, and sound medical judgment/decision making
• •Strong interpersonal skills, internal & external networking and the ability to impact and influence stakeholders
• •Strong knowledge of AI tools and use cases for the Medical Affairs function
