MCHC is seeking an experienced, caring, and adaptable Medical Assistant to serve as a Float MA across multiple MCHC clinic locations, including our upcoming Same-Day Clinic. What You’ll Do:

• •Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories
• •Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice
• •Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
• •Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• •Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards
• •Provide patient education on diagnoses, follow-up care, and treatment plans as directed

Requirements

• •Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• •Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• •At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
• •Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
