We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant MA for our Family Medicine department at the Broadway building Missoula location.

Schedule - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends or evenings

The Medical Assistant MA will:

• •Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
• •Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
• •Assist during procedures
• •Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
• •Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
• •Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
• •Participate in and support patient education
• •Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
• •Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
• •Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care

Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA position:

• •Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program (must become certified within 6 month of hire) medical assistant experience preferred
• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
