Medical Equipment Supply Tech - ED Main Campus (10a-2p)

Overview:

16 hrs/week, day shift, 10a-2p, 4 days per week, weekend rotation, holiday rotation.

Job Description Summary:

Maintains, repairs, and delivers medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and availability for patient care.

Job Description:

• Essential Functions:
• •Maintains medical equipment by conducting routine inspections and performing preventive maintenance.
• •Collaborates to repair and troubleshoot medical equipment malfunctions to ensure proper functioning. Keeps accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• •Orders and restocks medical supplies and equipment as needed, monitoring and maintaining inventory and expenses.
• •Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment to prevent the spread of infection.
• •Trains medical staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• •Participates in continuous process improvement for materials management and cost reduction programs.
