Join the Trusted Results Therapy Group Team

At Trusted Results Therapy Group (TRTG), we believe great care starts with great people. We are a growing, clinician-led behavioral health organization committed to making high-quality mental health services accessible to individuals and families across South Carolina.

What makes TRTG different is our people and our purpose. We have built a collaborative, supportive environment where team members are encouraged to grow professionally, bring new ideas forward, and make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

As a CARF-accredited organization, we are committed to high standards of care while continuing to expand the services and resources available to our clients. Our team includes professionals across therapy, psychiatry, psychological testing, rehabilitative behavioral health services, school-based services, nursing, administration, operations, and leadership — all working together toward one mission: helping people achieve trusted results.

About the Role

We're hiring a Medication Management Coordinator to support our growing Psychiatry / Medication Management Program. This is a fully remote position for someone organized and caring who likes keeping things moving: prior authorizations, refill requests, patient communication, and the administrative work behind them.

If you have a medical assistant, medical office, or prior authorization background and want meaningful work from home, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Prior Authorizations

Complete and manage prior authorizations for medications, treatments, and services, and see each one through to a decision.

Work with insurance companies and prescribers to get timely approvals, and re-authorize before coverage lapses.

Keep patients, pharmacies, and providers updated on approvals and denials, and help with appeals.

Patient Communication

Monitor the medication management inbox, phone line, and patient portal for refill requests and symptom calls .

Check refill requests against the chart, route them to the prescriber, and follow up with patients.

Document symptom calls, route them by urgency, and escalate safety concerns right away.

Clinical Paperwork & Forms

Coordinate the completion of specific forms with providers, clients, and our Medical Records Manager.

Send invoices for prescription refills and paperwork completion.

Confirm releases of information are in place, and upload completed paperwork to our EHR.

Administrative Support

Provide remote administrative support as needed, including scheduling support, EHR data entry, and other administrative tasks for the Medication Management Program and TRTG as a whole.

What You Need

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must live in South Carolina.

Reliable high-speed internet and a private, quiet workspace.

Strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills.

Commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA).

Medical assistant, medical office, or prior authorization experience.

Familiarity with mental health conditions and psychiatric medications

  • Pay: $16–$18 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, with possible Saturday availability.

**Exact hours will be discussed during the interview.

Why Join TRTG?

When you join TRTG, you become part of an organization that values:

Meaningful work that directly impacts individuals, families, and communities

A collaborative, team-centered culture

Professional growth, training, and leadership development

Opportunities to grow as the organization continues to expand

Innovation and new ideas from every level of the organization

A commitment to accessibility and reducing barriers to mental healthcare

High standards for quality, ethics, and client care

A workplace built around our core values of Trust, Results, Accessibility, and Community

100% remote work with no commute

[Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, 401(k), etc.]

We are looking for people who want more than just a job. We want team members who care about the work, care about the people around them, and want to be part of an organization making a lasting difference in mental healthcare across South Carolina. If that sounds like you, we would love to learn more about you.
