Metrology Technician I- Full-Time; On-site, Whitesboro, New York

As a Metrology Technician I at ICON, you will perform advanced calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements that support clinical research initiatives.

• The role:
• •• Calibrate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment in laboratories
• •Update the calibration schedule and equipment lists as work is performed.
• •Monitor equipment (e.g., freezers, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, water system, thermometers, weights, ovens, temperature and humidity monitors, REES Environmental system).
• •Act as an escort for the approved vendor performing required external calibration
• •Review calibration notebooks per applicable SOPs/procedures.

You will need:

• •Associate degree, in science is preferred; or high school diploma with a minimum 6 months - 1-year relevant laboratory experience.
• •A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all metrology activities.
• •Experience in calibration or metrology within a laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of measurement principles and regulatory requirements.
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail in documentation and data analysis.
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
• •A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all metrology activities.

Salary Range

$38,728.00-$48,410.00
