Location: Fully Remote, United States

Position Type: Full-Time

Clearance: U.S. citizenship is required. The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain federal suitability, a government-issued PIV credential, and required system access.

The Opportunity

TeamWorx Security is seeking a Software Developer to build applications, automation, and tools for a federal government client. The work replaces manual processes and disconnected spreadsheets with practical software that people use every day to plan work, manage requirements, and make decisions.

The client is an enterprise organization serving many business lines, so projects change often. You might spend a month building an application for one team, then move to a different group with an unrelated challenge. This role suits a developer with solid full-stack fundamentals who learns new tools quickly and enjoys working directly with the people who use the software.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications, automation, and integrations using Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script, SQL, APIs, and modern web frameworks.

Work with government stakeholders and senior developers to understand requirements, build working versions quickly, and refine them based on user feedback.

Build data-driven tools, dashboards, and interfaces that make complex information easy to use.

Deliver in short Agile sprints, including testing, user acceptance, production support, and updates to existing tools.

Take ownership of assigned work through production, raising risks and blockers early and documenting your code so others can support and extend it.

What We Think You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

5 or more years of software development experience.

Experience across front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and databases.

Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

Hands-on experience developing with Google Workspace and Google Apps Script.

Experience with version control, testing practices, and troubleshooting production issues.

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD and cloud deployment.

Experience integrating AI or workflow automation into applications.

Familiarity with federal requirements such as Section 508 accessibility.
