Position Overview

We are hiring Mill Operators to join our Manufacturing team at our Euclid, Ohio facility.

The Mill Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring milling equipment to manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work while maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with machining or manufacturing experience who want to continue developing their technical skills within an advanced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor milling equipment to produce components according to work orders, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as necessary to maintain product quality and efficient production
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications
  • Inspect finished and in-process parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Monitor machine performance, identify basic equipment or quality issues, and communicate concerns to leadership
  • Complete required production, quality, and material documentation accurately
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition while supporting 5S and continuous improvement efforts
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

  • Consistent production of parts that meet engineering and customer specifications
  • Accurate machine setups, measurements, and production documentation
  • Production goals achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Minimal scrap, rework, and equipment downtime
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork
  • Continued development of machining and technical skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous machine operation, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience operating milling equipment or other industrial machining equipment is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, or other precision measuring equipment preferred
  • Basic math skills and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team
