Mixer Truck Driver

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to join our Richmond Hill team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a ready-mix truck while delivering high-quality concrete products to our customers. This position plays a critical role in representing our company values, ensuring safety, and providing exceptional customer service on every delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• •Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• •Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• •Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color, etc.).
• •Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• •Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• •Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times.
• •Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• •Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• •Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• •Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards.
• •Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.

Requirements

• •High school diploma or GED preferred
• •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
• •Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• •Must be at least:
• •18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
• •21 years of age for operations in Georgia

• •Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
• •Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• •Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including:
• •No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
• •No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years

• •Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• •Bilingual skills are a plus
