About ABC Legal Services:

ABC Legal Services is proud to be the national leader in service of process. We are a team of 1000 and growing with offices in Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Chicago, Washington DC, and more. Seattle is our home and headquarters. We’ve been successful in this unique business for over 30 years and we continue to advance our technology and business processes to remain years ahead of what our competition is able to offer. Our focus is to expand our technology lead, acquire and integrate less efficient competitors, and tap into new segments through an integrated inbound marketing and sales approach.

Job Overview:

ABC Legal is looking for a full-time, remote Mobile Engineer to build new systems on both Android and iOS as part of a small, hands-on development team. We're looking for someone who is excited by mobile but doesn't stop there: a developer who enjoys working across platforms and across the broader stack. If you're self-motivated, enjoy difficult, far-reaching problems, and want to use a lot of skills rather than stay in one lane, you'll have the opportunity to take on as much as you want.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain new systems on native Android and iOS, with a focus on cross-platform consistency in design and implementation.

Look beyond mobile: contribute across the broader code base and stack, including web services and databases.

Take full ownership of your work through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Follow established team patterns and conventions while helping shape how we move forward.

Collaborate closely with the development teams, staying responsive and engaged in day-to-day communication.

Participate in regular team check-ins (once or twice a week) to share progress and raise blockers.

Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to work faster, solve problems, and improve the quality of your code.

Qualifications:

Required

Hands-on experience developing on native mobile platforms, Google Android and Apple iOS.

A genuine interest in both platforms; you aren't married to Android or iOS.

Willingness to follow established patterns and take input from teammates.

Strong attention to detail, with knowledge of design patterns and coding and testing best practices.

Experience with RESTful web APIs and applications.

Proficiency in languages such as Kotlin, Java, and Swift (Objective-C a plus), and with Android Studio and Xcode.

Experience with Git and with agile software development.

Self-motivated, with a strong delivery focus and the ability to work well in a small team.

3–5 years of professional experience.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

Full-stack experience, including web services and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS).

Interest in digging into the service side of the stack.

Experience with UI/UX design principles and data visualization.

Deeper knowledge of the Android and iOS ecosystems from end-user, development, and deployment perspectives.

Benefits

Health, Dental, Vision insurance

401(k) with company matching

Paid time off

7 Paid company holidays

4 Floating holidays per-year

Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance

Long Term Disability

Health Care Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account

Salary Range: The compensation range for this role is $130,000–$150,000 depending on experience.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, remote
