MRI Tech, StaffFlex Contract

$62.79/hr

Open availability

• •Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures.
• •Assists Radiologists in special procedures such as biopsies.
• •Maintains records of examinations performed.
• •Obtains and documents patient clinical history.
• •Positions patients and equipment to produce accurate images.
• •Administers contrast material for CT and MRI procedures.
• •Monitors patient condition and ensures patient safety and privacy.
• •Performs basic patient care within the scope of practice.
• •Participates in standby call and is available within 30 minutes of notification.
• •Performs equipment quality control and calibrations.
• •Coordinates equipment service and preventative maintenance.
• •Trains new employees and assesses technologist competence.
• •Assists in routine department clerical needs.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Patient care and communication skills to deal with patients from infant, childhood, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups [Required]
• •Must be able to use computer system for data entry and retrieval [Required]
• •Basic clerical skills, record keeping, documentation, transfer of images to disk or film and excellent customer service skills [Required]

Education:

Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Field of Study:

Must be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. program with current A.R.R.T registration and state license in Radiography.

Work Experience:

2+ CT/MR experience [Required]

Pay Range:

• $15.00 - $130.00
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
