Job Description:

• •Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• •Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• •Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• •Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• •Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.

Maintain responsibility for all Hospital continuing and annual education [Required]

Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures [Required]

Ability to follow Basic Radiation Safety concepts of time, distance, and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patients and staff [Required]

Ability to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail [Required]

Excellent customer service skills [Required]

Ability to deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with all patients and hospital personnel [Required]

Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical personnel that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the organization [Required]

Education:

Associate [Preferred]

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $31.86 - $59.27
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
