Job Description:

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM

• •Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• •Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
• •Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• •Performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.
• •Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Knowledge of MRI procedures [Required]
• •Knowledge of MRI scanners [Required]
• •Ability to work flexibly in variable shifts, occasionally including weekends or holidays [Required]
• •Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures [Required]
• •Ability to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail [Required]

Education:

• •Associate [Preferred]
• •High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• •Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required] OR

Pay Range:

$30.45 - $56.64
