We have an opportunity for a Multi-Media Specialist to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will play a critical role in bringing Pentair's brands, products, and customer stories to life through compelling visual communications. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality creative assets that support brand awareness, product marketing, sales enablement, digital campaigns, and customer engagement across multiple channels. This role will report to the Group Marketing Director of Commercial Water Solutions. The Mulit-Media Specialist will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Communications, Digital Marketing, and external agency partners to ensure Pentair's visual identity is consistently represented while supporting strategic business objectives.

You will:

  • Design and develop creative assets for digital, print, social media, web, email, trade shows, events, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent application of Pentair's brand standards, visual identity, and messaging across all customer-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to translate business objectives, customer insights, and campaign strategies into compelling visual concepts and creative executions.
  • Create product collateral, brochures, catalogs, presentations, infographics, advertisements, case studies, and other marketing communications materials.
  • Support product launches and growth initiatives through the development of launch assets, campaign creative, sales tools, and promotional materials.
  • Partner with Content Marketing and Digital Marketing to design and optimize content for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social channels, and online advertising.
  • Develop graphics, illustrations, image treatments, and visual storytelling assets that communicate complex technical and product information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high design quality, attention to detail, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure creative materials are produced efficiently and accurately.
  • Stay current on design trends, technology, and best practices to continuously improve creative effectiveness and elevate Pentair's visual presence.
  • Support photography, video, and multimedia initiatives as needed to enhance storytelling and customer engagement.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional partners, incorporating feedback and aligning creative solutions with business goals.
  • Model culture and talent development in alignment with Pentair’s Win Right Values and Leadership Model, fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous development while modeling the behaviors expected of Pentair leaders.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably supporting B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or technology organizations.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrates expertise in brand design, marketing communications, digital design, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print channels, with understanding of production requirements and best practices.
  • Knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, and user-centered design principles.
  • Experience in creating sales and marketing materials that support customer acquisition, product promotion, and brand awareness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work on deadlines.
  • Strong creative problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, Figma, or web design platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, content management systems, and digital campaign asset development is preferred.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $63000 - $117000/ year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
