About the Job:

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A multimodality technologist performs radiographic and CT Scan procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

What You’ll Do:

• •Maintains a working knowledge of all radiographic and CT Scan equipment within the department.
• •Prepares and positions patient for CT and X-Ray procedures according to the procedure manual.
• •Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.
• •Prepares and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally.
• •Checks patient charts for lab results and allergies prior to the administration of IV contrast.
• •Provides radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.

Who You Are:

• •Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology, Required
• •Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification, Required
• •ARRT (CT) certification, Required within 24 months of hire
• •ARRT (Rad Tech) certification, Required
• •Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment

$15,000 sign on bonus eligible

Work Shift:

• Every weekend- Londonderry -8am-8pm
• opposite weekend Bedford 6am-4pm
• Every Monday Bedford 7am-4:30pm
