- General Description: The Brand Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, coordination, and daily management of assigned non-alcoholic brands across all sales channels. This role acts as the primary liaison between the sales team and key suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, developing business plans, creating incentive programs, and identifying opportunities to drive growth and achieve sales targets.This role operates with minimal supervision, and the expectation is for the individual to establish procedures for how and when to complete tasks.
- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory to maintain consistent days on hand and create purchase orders.
- Collaborate with financial operations on product pricing strategies, new item setups, and go-to-market plans.
- Analyze the L&F portfolio to identify gaps and potential new item additions.
- Drive brand success by actively supporting and communicating with sales teams and chain account managers.
- Work with assigned suppliers on sales incentives and market initiatives.
- Develop strategies for product allocations across markets.
- Track, monitor, and update the execution of programs for assigned suppliers.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding programs, product changes, and market updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments on product changes, program updates, and market developments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- 5+ years of account management or sales experience in the beverage distribution industry.
- Strong grasp of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Proven record of sales success and customer satisfaction, driven to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and people skills, capable of understanding customer needs.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, and leadership abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in computer skills and integrating communication into the sales process.
- Willingness to travel as required, with a valid Texas state driver's license.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
- In-depth understanding of the beverage distribution market and emerging industry trends.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and market insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to client challenges.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods.
- Walking, bending, reaching, standing, and squatting.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds for product demonstrations or event setups.
- Travel may be required.
- Ability to navigate various environments, including retail and food service locations.

- Involves frequent/infrequent, occasional, and routine exposure to:
- Exposure to various retail and food service environments, which may include noise, temperature fluctuations, and crowded spaces.
- Potential for exposure to product samples and promotional materials, requiring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Travel may involve risks, including adverse weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to warehouse settings, where moving equipment and inventory may pose safety risks.
- Other extreme hazards not listed above.
Special Certifications and Licenses:
- Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
- Certified Beverage Professional (CBP), Certified Sales Professional (CSP), food/beverage safety certification(s) (e.g., ServSafe), preferred.
- Reports to: Directly to the General Manager.
