Job Description

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• •Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• •Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• •Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• •Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• •Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• •Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks .Net Developer Analyst in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

• •Perform end-to-end system engineering across the SDLC, covering requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance for integrated applications.
• •Develop high quality, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices, coding standards, and reusable components.
• •Support the full testing lifecycle by designing, executing, and debugging test cases to deliver defect free, production ready solutions.
• •Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to maintain delivery velocity and team alignment.
• •Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, refine, and document technical and functional requirements aligned with business needs.
• •Analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, document designs, and contribute to effort estimation and delivery planning.
• •Provide technical support by resolving queries, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring system stability and performance. Address technical queries, manage live incidents, and resolve problems to minimize system impact.
• •Work closely with operational SMEs to refine requirements and support enhancements to applications and services.

Minimum Salary: $194,000 per year

Maximum Salary: $199,000 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
