As a Non-Profit Audit Manager , you will lead audit engagements for nonprofit organizations, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and mentor team members throughout the engagement process. This role offers a variety of client work, flexible scheduling, and convenient regional travel opportunities.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage nonprofit audit engagements from planning through completion, including presentation to clients.

Supervise, coach, and mentor audit staff and seniors throughout all phases of an engagement.

Review financial statements and related audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Advise clients on accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters.

Identify and resolve complex accounting and audit issues.

Evaluate and test internal controls and financial reporting processes.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.

Review and/or prepare Form 990 and related state informational returns

Participate in business development activities, networking opportunities, and client presentations.

Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm's Audit practice.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Active CPA license.

Five or more years of public accounting experience with nonprofit experience.

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, compilations, and reviews.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls over financial reporting.

Strong knowledge related to the preparation of Form 990s and IRS regulations for nonprofits.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining quality service.
