NPD Supervisor

Reporting to R&D Engineering Manager, the primary responsibility of this role focuses on leading new product development (NPD) projects and managing the technical execution from initial concept through to production release. This role is responsible for overseeing prototype planning, resource management, and project schedules while providing technical guidance to develop core engineers. Additionally, this role acts as a key technical partner to Sales, Marketing, Process Development, and Quality teams to support product performance, capability, and reliability.

About the Job:

• •Lead key product development projects from initial concept, feasibility planning, and prototyping through to full production release.
• •Manage technical aspects of the development process and allocate resources effectively to meet project goals, schedules, and technical milestones.
• •Drive problem-solving by providing effective technical solutions and action plans for complex engineering challenges.
• •Provide technical guidance, organize internal technical training, and mentor/develop core engineers.
• •Offer technical expertise and support to Sales, Marketing, Process Development, and Quality teams regarding product performance, capability, and reliability.

About You:

• •Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• •5+ years of experience in new product development, including 3+ years of dedicated experience in fuse development.
• •Demonstrated ability to independently develop products, lead engineering projects, and apply management/leadership skills.
• •High proficiency in English reading and writing.
• •Practical knowledge of engineering tools (2D/3D CAD) and a strong understanding of APQP methodology (especially DFMEA).
• •Result-oriented, self-initiated, and highly motivated professional
