Job Description:

• •Maintains compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.
• •Manages and administers assigned care units to ensure delivery of quality care.
• •Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires team members to maintain adequate coverage.
• •Administers and interprets personnel policies and procedures, including wage and salary.
• •Ensures appropriate orientation and training of new personnel.
• •Counsels team members for disciplinary and exemplary actions according to policy.
• •Submits and manages schedules to ensure appropriate department coverage.
• •Assesses staffing needs and collaborates to meet staffing standards consistently.
• •Utilizes clinical expertise and leadership skills to ensure efficient unit operations.
• •Implements the Quality Improvement plan in collaboration with department leadership.
• •Manages fiscal responsibilities to control costs within budgetary guidelines.
• •Participates in the development of new programs and services to improve department offerings.

Education:

• •Associate's [Required]
• •Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

5+ experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities; appropriate decision making with a history of positive interpersonal relationships with hospital team members, patients and visitors. [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• •Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR Cardiovascular Interventional Tech Cert (CVIT) [Required] OR Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• •Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

• $77,376.00 - $165,505.60
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
