Community Health Care North Canton is seeking a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping others and providing excellent patient-centered care. What You’ll Do

• •Performing physical exams and patient observations
• •Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms
• •Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones
• •Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests
• •Diagnosing health issues
• •Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed
• •Educating patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury
• •Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of the patients

What We’re Looking For

• •Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• •APN authorization in Ohio to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners
• •Prescriptive authorization
• •Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and information systems
• •A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Knowledge of disease processes and prevention
