Job Summary:

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced, state-of-the-art medicine in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians and a dedicated nursing staff.

Job Duties:

Position Highlights:

• •14 shifts/month with a mix of day and night (nocturnal stipend offered) 12-hour shifts (7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am)
• •Work alongside critical care physicians in a collaborative, team-based model
• •Provide comprehensive care: assessment, planning, education, treatment, and follow-up
• •Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines, Temporary dialysis catheters, Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others
• •Serve as a patient advocate , liaison, and trusted advisor for patients and families
• •Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives
• •Moonlighting opportunities available for additional income
