The APP will work collaboratively with Urology physicians and fellow advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients across both the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.

The APP will evaluate and manage urology patients, develop and coordinate treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide ongoing follow-up care. Outpatient responsibilities include a mix of new patient consultations and follow-up visits, with the majority of the clinic schedule focused on established patient care. In the inpatient setting, the APP will round on hospitalized urology patients, perform consultations, and assist with admissions and discharges.

APPs may transition to outpatient clinic responsibilities following morning rounds as appropriate. There is no surgical first-assisting responsibility associated with this position.

The selected APP will also be required to travel to our Salem, MA Urology practice for orientation and training.

The schedule includes participation in a rotating weekend coverage schedule, approximately one weekend in every six. Weekend coverage extends from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM and includes approximately 12 hours of on-site coverage for the weekend.
