Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Riverside Cancer Care team in Newport News, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced oncology specialists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

What You’ll Do

• •As a Nurse Practitioner on our oncology team, you will:
• •Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
• •Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• •Develop and manage personalized care plans
• •Perform pulmonology consultations
• •Counsel patients and families on treatment options and care plans
• •Prescribe and evaluate treatments and medications
• •Document clinical findings accurately in the EMR
• •Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cancer care experts

Our Areas of Expertise

You’ll support patients across a range of cancer specialties, including:

• •Breast Cancer
• •Colon Cancer
• •Gynecologic Cancer
• •Lung Cancer
• •Prostate Cancer

What We’re Looking For

Education & Licensure:

• •Nurse Practitioner: Master’s in Nursing, current NP license, and board certification (FNP & PMHNP)
• •Eligible for Virginia state medical licensure
• •Valid DEA registration

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• •Experience in oncology or pulmonology preferred
• •Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• •Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• •Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• •A compassionate, team-oriented mindset
