As part of our OEM Account Team, you will work with a leading Automotive OEM to understand its vision and liaise with all relevant NXP Business Lines to make this vision a reality. Whether presenting our leading capabilities, working with the customer on potential solutions, preparing and facilitating workshops, or building and expanding executive relationships, you will have the opportunity to influence significant business opportunities and create value for both companies.

We are looking for an experienced OEM Key Account Manager Automotive (f/m/d) based in Wolfsburg (home office) or Dresden (office). Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for developing and executing strategies to influence and maximize NXP sales and profit at a leading Automotive OEM in the strategic growth areas Vehicle Electronic Architecture, SDV & AI, ADAS, Electrification & Vehicle Connectivity, UWB
  • Identify concrete areas of cooperation working with NXP experts and “translate” these into contracts which you will negotiate towards a win-win outcome with the Automotive OEM
  • Develop appropriate product proposals for the entire system and co-ordinate optimum support, this involves close cooperation and communication with NXP’s sales and field application engineering teams as well as intensive communication with the responsible NXP business lines
  • Drive new product definition together with the customer and the respective NXP Business Lines to secure NXP’s long term success in this key market segment
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s vision, strategy, opportunities and challenges, both short- and long-term
  • Build a strong understanding of the customer organization, including formal and informal decision-making structures and continuously gather relevant customer and market insights
  • Establish trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, software organizations, procurement teams, engineering leadership and strategic decision makers across Volkswagen Group
  • Own strategic opportunity identification, RFQ management, sourcing support, design-win tracking and long-term growth planning to maximize NXP market share within Volkswagen Group

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 to10 years’ experience in semiconductor Marketing or Sales
  • Knowledge of electronic and semiconductor products in the automotive industry and their usage in the automotive application fields
  • Strong understanding of Software-Defined Vehicle trends, vehicle architectures, semiconductor technologies and automotive software ecosystems
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and influence decision-makers across engineering, procurement, software development, and executive management
  • Strong customer and business orientation, combined with excellent networking skills and the ability to engage effectively across all management levels
  • Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key customer requirements and translate them into actionable input for relevant Business Lines
  • Proven track record of success in a complex and challenging business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany, as well as across EMEA and globally
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a global and multicultural environment
