  • Job Description:
  • Full-Time Employee to support the AML Onboarding process. The team covers new client onboarding, expansion, uplift as its core activities and are responsible for completing AML/CDD checks in line with country standards and CIP/CDD procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end AML/CDD onboarding for complex and higher-risk clients across multiple Asian jurisdictions, including document gap analysis, system enrichment and enhanced due diligence.
  • Review information obtained from client documentation, internal systems, public sources and approved vendors to identify and resolve AML/CDD requirements.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Coverage, Global Financial Crimes and other stakeholders to obtain and validate documentation, resolve complex cases and manage escalations.
  • Support creation of key business metrics
  • Liaise with internal departments to support KYC issues - Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or global initiatives
  • Participate in remediations, internal/external Audits/GFC testing requirements
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise or automate AML processes while maintaining effective risk management and controls.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong AML/CDD and KYC knowledge, including complex onboarding, enhanced due diligence and documentation requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Ability to manage BAU onboarding cases while balancing change deliverables, competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to stakeholder groups.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, Copilot.
