What you will have an opportunity to do:

Performs and provides body treatments and massages for spa guests.

• The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and
• demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable
• accommodation.
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• and procedure manuals.
• •Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• •Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

• LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
• Must be a Certified Massage Therapist for the State of California and have a permit for the City of La Quinta.

• OTHER DUTIES
• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by La quinta resort from time to time, is
• essential to the successful performance of this position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties
• that have the potential of risk to your health or safety.

• GROOMING
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
• Hair longer than shoulder length shall be pulled back in a presentable fashion. Uniforms will be provided and
• worn by team member.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years in massage therapy practice or in resort spa as a therapist preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

• OTHER
• NO solicitating to guests will be allowed
