On-the-Road Supervisor – Charleston, SC

We are seeking a motivated and experienced On-the-Road Supervisor to oversee final mile delivery operations in the field, ensuring safety, service quality, and customer satisfaction. This position plays a key role in supervising delivery teams, maintaining compliance with company standards, and supporting operational excellence.

This field-based role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with frequent travel between delivery locations, contractor check-ins, and on-site problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations Management

• •Monitor and evaluate delivery teams in the field to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service standards.
• •Conduct route audits, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations with independent contractors and delivery drivers.
• •Perform quality checks on deliveries and installations.
• •Resolve operational issues and customer escalations on-site.

Delivery Team Leadership

• •Provide coaching, feedback, and support to delivery teams to improve efficiency and professionalism.
• •Assist with onboarding and training new contractors and drivers.
• •Maintain a visible presence through daily visits to routes and terminals.

Client & Customer Focus

• •Resolve customer escalations and act as a liaison between delivery teams, customers, and the RAS dispatch/operations center.
• •Ensure deliveries and installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.

Administrative Duties

• •Ensure proper documentation, inventory handling, and use of company technology, including handheld devices and delivery software.
• •Submit reports on team performance, delivery issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• •Assist with additional operational duties as assigned.

Work Location: In person – Charleston, SC

Travel Requirements: Frequent travel throughout the assigned region, including daily visits to delivery routes and terminals.

Working Conditions: Field-based position with exposure to warehouse and delivery environments. May require early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• •Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or field supervision.
• •High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• •Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• •Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and logistics best practices.
• •Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• •Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
• •Proficiency in mobile technology and route optimization tools.
• •Ability to conduct field evaluations, support delivery teams, and resolve operational challenges.
• •Availability for frequent regional travel and flexible working hours.
