Job Description:

Schedule Options : Monday thru Friday 6:45am - 5:15pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. Department requirement for Per Diem role is 12 shifts every 6 weeks with one Saturday Shift.

Required T raining: 4 day weekly 10‑hour shifts for approximately 4–8 weeks depending on experience level.

Per Diem Rate: $43.33

• •Completes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.
• •Makes appropriate decisions and conducts interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs.
• •Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
• •Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed.
• •Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
• •Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with unit patient population.
• •Adheres to all pertinent regulatory standards, follows strict infection prevention precautions, and ensures medication safety.
• •Promotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and visitors, including hourly rounding. Utilizes appropriate techniques, verbiage, and resources

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Organizational and multi-tasking skills [Required]

Education:

• •Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• •Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ Years [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• •Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• •Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
• •Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $31.53 - $52.24
