As either an Onsite Engineer or IT apprentice, you will be the face of our company based directly onsite at our schools, providing on-site technical support, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance to our clients. The Onsite Engineer role is perfect for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for customer service.

Our apprentice or Junior roles are perfect too - you won't be on your own, you will be working alongside another engineer to bounce ideas and learn off, plus have the full support of our technical operations team back at HQ!

The varied nature of this role requires an intelligent and enthusiastic person who has the ability to think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.

Perform installations, upgrades, and repairs of IT equipment and systems.

Maintain and monitor systems to ensure optimum performance and security.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and enhance system functionality.

Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and recommendations.

Assist in configuring and testing new technology systems.

Provide training and support for end-users on hardware and software solutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar technical support role.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
